Western Boone Jr. - Sr. High School

Every runner appeared more confident for this race after having a few races behind them. In the boys race Brentton Palmer led the Stars again with an 8th place finish followed very closely by Caleb Crockett in 9th and Kole Nelson in 10th place while Rex Stanley sprinted it in for 14th place. Joan Gearheart had a solid first place victory for the Lady Stars with Claire Torp looking strong in 4th place. Jaili Torp sped across the finish line in 7th to edge out Destiny Stover's 8th place finish, with Autumn Palmer coming in 9th. Both teams performed very well and continue to improve as they are gaining experience. The next race will be their first home meet this Thursday against Danville and North Montgomerey.
