Stars Volleyball improves to 11-1 on the season

The Western Boone Stars Volleyball defeated Guerin Catholic in 3 sets Thursday evening making their record 11-1. WeBo volleyball had it all together and played with great strength mentally and physically against GC. Stars soared through the first set with huge amounts of energy resulting in a 25-12 win. WeBo took control of the momentum and won the next two sets 25-21 and 25-15. Raegan Durbin led the Stars with 13 kills, 3 aces, 1 block, and 14 digs. Senior Libero Elena Gubera was not letting a ball drop on her court leading the team with 17 digs and 1 ace. Kennedy Kiger found all the open shots on the court with 8 kills, Saige Terwiske had 6 kills followed by Alayna Christner with 5. Chloe Gillan had 9 digs and Kendal Ramey had 5 digs and 2 aces. Stars travel to Noblesville High School Saturday for a tournament against Lawrence North, Wes-Del, and Union.
