Western Boone Jr. - Sr. High School

The Lady Stars raced against a field of 36 runners and Joan Gearheart finished second in a time of 13:02. Claire Torp finished 20th in 17:15 and Jaili Torp and Destiny Stover sprinted to the end for 24th and 25th with times of 18:17 and 18:19 respectively. Autumn Palmer finished 32nd in 20:07 which gave the Stars enough points to edge out North Montgomery for an overall second place team finish for the night. For the boys race Brentton Palmer, Caleb Crockett and Kole Nelson worked together and finished 20th, 21st, and 22nd. Brentton had a time of 15:46, Caleb in at 15:53 and Kole with 16:19. Rex Stanley had a great finishing sprint for 26th place in a time of 19:25. This young Star team has had three races within the last six days and continue to give it their all at every race.
