Western Boone Jr. - Sr. High School

The WeBo Volleyball Team traveled to Noblesville High School on Saturday to play four games in the Noblesville Invite. The Stars were able to sweep the first three teams they played. Western Boone won their first match against Lawrence North 25-13 and 25-14. Next, they defeated Wes-Del quickly with set scores of 25-6 and 25-12. Stars faced Union County and won 25-12 and 25-16. WeBo made it into the championship game against Noblesville. Stars fell short the first set 17-25 but battled back to take the second set from the Millers 25-22. The third set was point by point, but Noblesville came out on top 15-11. Throughout the entire tournament, Senior Elena Gubera had 9 serving aces and 38 digs. Raegan Durbin had a total of 26 kills, 35 digs, and 5 serving aces. Chloe Gillan followed with 15 digs and Kendal Ramey had 11 digs and 5 aces. Kennedy Kiger had 22 total kills, Saige Terwiske right behind her with 21 kills, 5 aces and Audrey Dunn with 16 kills. Alayna Christner had 5 blocks and 10 kills. Stars travel to McCutcheon on Tuesday and will host Frankfort Thursday evening!
