The JH Cross Country team played host to Frankfort Monday night

The Junior High Cross Country team hosted Frankfort for a dual meet Monday evening where both girls and boys competed together. Leading all runners on the night was Joan Gearheart with a time of 12:51. Next across the finish line was Claire Torp in 4th place and shaving over a minute off of her last home meet time in 15:57. Jaili Torp also improved her time by over 30 seconds with a season best coming in with a time of 17:46 in 6th place. Destiny Stover held off a sprinting competitor to seal a Webo girls win at 7th place in 18:22, followed very closely by Autumn Palmer in 18:25 with a 9th place finish. The final score was 27 to 28. For the boys race Caleb Crockett led the Stars for a personal best finishing 6th in 15:13 with Brentton Palmer close behind in 7th and improving from the last meet by almost 30 seconds in at 15:22. Kole Nelson also dropped his time coming in 8th place at 16:01. Rex Stanley had one of his best races for the year finishing 10th with a 19:17. Every member of this team has been putting in the work to keep improving.
