5/3 Recap vs Zionsville The Western Boone Lady Stars hosted the Lady Eagles of Zionsville Friday evening and took the loss 11-0. The Stars held their own until the 4th inning when the defense committed some errors allowing the Eagles to put six runs on the board. The Stars offense tried at times but was unable to breakthrough and score a run but were lead at the plate by Ally Lewis going 2 for 3 in the contest. The Stars will be back to work today cleaning up the defense in preparation of a full week starting with a conference matchup tomorrow at home against Frankfort.
