Western Boone Jr. - Sr. High School

The Lady Stars made their trip to University on Thursday, September 22 to take on the Trailblazers. The Stars really couldn’t find much opportunity to get the ball in the net with the Trailblazers style of play, which was very defense heavy. But the girls never quit trying nor did they lose composure and let University find opportunities either. Our defensive back line has really stepped it up and Emily Conyer (senior) has played a huge role in the success of our defensive posture by playing exceptionally well as a defensive center midfielder. Despite many challenges with over-aggressive play, play calling, and losing an official halfway through the game - the Lady Stars really put up a good fight through and through. Both our Varsity and Junior Varisty games ended 0-0. We take on Frankfort at home on Monday (also our senior night) and Crawfordsville Wednesday (away) next week to end our regular season, and to try and bump our conference record to 4-3. Come support!
