Western Boone Jr. - Sr. High School

The Western Boone golf team competed at Rocky Ridge on Saturday in the Sagamore Conference Tournament. Even though the Stars were able to score a season low of 383, it was still a disappointing and frustrating day as the Stars would finish 8th. Despite an extremely unfortunate break that almost derailed Jaice Butler's round early on, he was able to rebound and still card a 91, good enough to earn 2nd Team All-Conference Honors. Maddex Gadbury would have his best day of the season, turning in a 95, good enough for the second highest score on the team. Evan Terwiske's 96 and Luke LaGrange's 101 would complete the scoring for the team. The Stars have just two matches left to look to still put everything together as a group before sectionals on June 3rd.
