Western Boone Jr. - Sr. High School

The Lady Stars golf team came away with a win against Lebanon with a team score of 171 to 206. Ally Lewis was the match medalist shooting a ​37, one stroke short of the school record. Lyla Jackson shot a 44, Ila Stokes shot a 45, Jaylee Dickerson shot a 51 and Lexi Gregg shot a 45. The JV team also competed; Jada Scott with a 43, Ally Sparks with a 48, Amaya Westerfeld with a 54, Isabella Fettig with a 63, and Rylee Pelley with a 50, with a team score of 195. Isabelle Sturgis and Jordan Sterling played from 100 yards out, shooting 59 and 50 respectively. The team kept cool heads in this August heat to pull out their first win against Lebanon in 8 years! The next match is Thursday at Cool Lake Golf Course, in a 4-way match against Attica, Seeger & Fountain Central.
