Stars defeat Quakers in dominate fashion

Thursday evening was the last regular season home game for the Western Boone Stars volleyball team. The Stars came to perform and easily defeated the Quakers in 3 straight sets for a quick sweep in hopes of carrying this momentum into Sectionals. Set scores were 25-4, 25-13, and 25-21. Western Boone had a total of 10 aces against the struggling Quakers. Sophomore Raegan Durbin led the team with 18 kills, Audrey Dunn followed with 10 kills, Alayna Christner has 6, and Kennedy Kiger with 4. Libero Elena Gubera had 18 total digs during the match. Durbin followed with 11 digs, and Kendal Ramey had 4. The Lady Stars are preparing for an intense week of practice and will play the winner of the Crawfordsville and Danville game in Match 3 on Saturday, October 15th!
