The 7th grade team fought hard and made some great plays but came up short 24-25 and 24-25. Some highlights from last nights game were Alexa Massingill’s serving run at the end of set two, where she scored 6 points. Kenleigh Raby and Kyndal Dickerson also had a good serving game, with each having 3 aces between the two sets. After the game Coach Kiger was very proud of the team. “This has been a great group of girls to help coach. Mark and I really appreciate how eager they are to learn and improve their volleyball skills.” On the 8th grade side, the girls rounded out their season with a win, defeating the Mounties 25-16 and 25-18. Some highlights from last night were Tori Huss and Sage Ward leading the team in kills, and Reagan Harlos had an impressive serving game with multiple aces. Coach Kiger said after the game, “This team has overcome a lot this season. We didn’t start our season the way we wanted to, but by our last few games, the girls were playing their best volleyball. Everyone has improved this year, and I couldn’t be more proud of them.”
