Similar to the weather, 2S Jon Rutherford brought the heat, winning his match in straight sets. 1D Oakley/Nance also started strong but overcame adversity after the second set and left the courts victorious via super tiebreaker. Despite an intense battle, the Stars ultimately were defeated 2-3 to a talented McCutcheon squad. The Stars now focus their attention to Saturday where they will host the WeBo Tourney, starting at 9am.
