The Stars battled the Athenians from Crawfordsville Tuesday night. Though they started slow, they came away with a 30-0 victory. The Stars defense shut down the Athenian ground game with the front 7 of Kamden Talbert, Connor Palmer, Hayden Demaree, Tate Fields, and Lukas Harrison, Weston Richardson, and Drake Wagner. Tate Wood made a huge tackle on what could have been a big gain for the Athenians. Fields and Talbert also recovered fumbles. Offensively, The line of Fields, Caleb Douglas, Brannon Gadbury, Wagner, and Palmer opened big holes for the Stars ground game. Blake Warmoth had 3 touchdowns (2 rushing, 1 receiving), Harrison had a rushing touchdown and a 2 pt conversion, and Ryder Devol threw a touchdown pass and threw two conversions to Corey Boggs and Crew Gallimore. The Stars travel to Lizton on Tuesday night to battle the Tri-West Bruins. Kickoff is at 5:30 pm.
