Western Boone Jr. - Sr. High School

The 7th grade Stars beat the Tri-West Bruins in an intense 3 set match. After losing the first set, the Stars came out with integrity and drive which gave them the push to take the Bruins to a third set. This was the first high pressure situation the girls have experienced this season, and they handled it tremendously as they came back from being down 12-14, and beating the Bruins 16-14. We are so proud of the girls for sticking through the match, and we hope they bring this fight with them for the rest of their season. The 8th grade Stars traveled to Tri-West Thursday night in hopes of a win. The girls struggled to find their groove in their passing while the Bruins had a few solid hits against the team. The Stars fell in two sets, but had key plays from Murryn Sturgis, Emma Delp, Caydence Paris, and Sabina Shepherd. They play their next home game on Monday against Crawfordsville.
