JH Cross Country teams faced strong competition in Noblesville on Saturday

The Junior High Cross Country teams travelled to Noblesville Saturday morning to compete against some of the best teams central Indiana has to offer. The girls lined up first and it was Abigayle Humphrey leading the Stars once again finishing with a 14:06 in 111th place. Then it was Alisha Manning in at 16:08 followed by Bristol McCord (16:18) with a new Season Best. In the boys race Ari Smith led the team finishing in 106th place with a 12:04. Owen Young passed 12 runners in the last 1500 meters to finish 127th in at 12:37. Rex Stanley ran both halves of the course with near perfect splits to finish one second off of his personal best in at 13:53, followed by Nate Muir (14:20) and Hayden Trenary shaving off an impressive 32 seconds with a new lifetime best of 14:27. Jacob Nance crossed the line at 17:32. The Stars next race will be at home Wednesday against Lebanon and Clinton Central.
