The Western Boone Stars wrapped up their 2024 regular season with a loss to the University Trailblazers. The Stars opened the match with a win at 2S by Jon Rutherford. However, the win by Rutherford was the only victory for the Stars. Despite the loss, the Stars played well at multiple spots that will carry over into postseason play next week. The Stars will participate in the Crawfordsville Sectional next week, beginning play Tuesday or Wednesday. The sectional draw is Monday at 7:00pm. The JV Stars also played well but fell short to the Trailblazers. Logan Cripe picked up 2 wins, Tristyn Faulk/Reese Young, and Ethan Barnett picked up wins for the JV.
