Western Boone Jr. - Sr. High School

The JV Lady Stars travelled to Frankfort Thursday for a two quarter game and a chance at redemption after a one point loss earlier in the season. The first quarter ended in a deadlock at 7 each but in the second half of the game Webo put the pressure on defensively and connected at the freethrow line to end the game with the win 19 to 15. The Western Boone Boys Basketball C-Team and JV traveled to Frankfort on Thursday night for a conference game and came away with a 1-1 record. The C-Team started the night off with a back and forth game that saw multiple lead changes but ultimately the Stars fell to the Hot Dogs by a final score of 34-28. Scoring for the Stars was Dylan Sheets 7, Brennen Kopriva 6, Evan Allen 5, Nick Hurliman 4, Layton Yancey 3, Julian McClaine 2, and Brandon Potter 1. The JV team took the lead early and held the lead the entire game to come away with another win by a final score of 40-38. Scoring for the Stars was Eli Mitchell 12, Tristyn Faulk 10, Jackson Grimes 8, Carter Hanna 6, Bryce Kopriva, 2 and Drew Gott 2.
