The Western Boone Lady Stars hit the court Friday night, facing off against the Danville Warriors in an exciting matchup! The Lady Stars came out strong, stunning the Warriors with an impressive first quarter. Ally Lewis led the charge, scoring 9 of the team’s 13 points to set the tone early. Despite their fiery start, the Stars trailed the Warriors by just one basket at the end of the first quarter. The second quarter saw the Warriors gain momentum, launching a dominant 33-4 run that left the Stars battling to keep up. But true to their name, the Lady Stars didn’t back down. They dug in defensively during the third quarter, limiting the Warriors to 14 points and showing incredible grit and determination. Ultimately, the Warriors pulled away with a final score of 70-33.
