JV Recap: The Stars had a great start to the game last night against Crawfordsville and held a 20-19 lead at halftime. Burke Cavins came out on fire and hit 5 3s in the first quarter to spark the team. The Stars were solid on defense in the second half but struggled offensively and allowed Crawfordsville to pull away with a 45-32 win. The team finished with a 4-3 conference record and currently sits at 8-6 overall. Burke Cavins led the team with 15 points. Carson Nicley and Owen Oakley chipped in 5 points each. Varsity Recap: The Stars picked up a huge conference win over Crawfordsville by the score of 58-53 and are currently on a 3-game winning streak. The game was won on the defensive end and free throw line. The Stars shot 31-40 from the line and made consecutive stops in the 4th quarter to close out the game. Gavin Hawkins had a game-high 23 points. Quinn Westerfeld had 13 points. Marcus Fortner had a huge 4th quarter and finished with 11 points. Eli Mitchell played a great all-around game and finished with 7 points.
