The JV Stars lost a close game in overtime to Seeger by the score of 51-50. Beau Sawyer had 10 points and sent the game to overtime with a huge 3 at the buzzer. The Stars led 50-44 in overtime, but costly turnovers and missed free throws hurt the team in the end. Carson Nicley and Owen Oakley led the team in scoring with 11 points each. Levi Adkins had 9 points. Varsity: The Stars hosted Seeger on Tuesday evening and lost a close game by the score of 56-53. The Stars played some solid team basketball and led going into the 4th quarter 46-41. The Patriots started the 4th quarter on a 13-0 run and the Stars couldn't capitalize at the free throw line all evening. Gavin Hawkins led the team with 25 points. Marcus Fortner had a great complete game and finished with 12 points. Quinn Westerfeld had 9 points and Tristyn Faulk finished with 7 points.
