JH swimming split wins with Fountain Central

The girls swim team got their first win of the season last night by a score of 120 - 52. The relay team of Isabelle Sturgis, Eisley Whiteley, Autumn Palmer and Evie Maurath started off the meet by winning the 200 Medley Relay. This was followed by a Jaili Torp, Evie Maurath and Aveline Orr 1-2-3 finish in the 200 Free. Kyndal Dickerson won the 50 Free. Eisley Whiteley won diving and set a new personal best. Joan Gearheart won the 100 Free. The 200 Free Relay team of Rylee Pelley, Jaili Torp, Hannah Ranney and Evie Maurath finished in first. The Stars finished 1-2-3 I. Sturgis, J. Gearheart and H. Ranney in the 100 back. Eisley picked up another win the the 100 Breaststroke and the relay team of E. Maurath, B. Sturgis, Claire Torp and E. Whiteley finished the night strong by winning the last event, the 400 Free Relay. The boys team had a wonderful night of personal bests but ended up falling to Fountain Central by a score of 85-68. Jacob Schrier shaved off 7 seconds in the 200 Free. Aiden Lester dropped over 30 seconds in the 100 IM. Levi Biggs dropped 3 seconds for a new personal best in the 50 Free. Aiden Smith dropped 4 seconds in the 100 Free. J. Schrier won the 100 Backstroke with a new best time. Liam Whiteley dropped 2 seconds in the 100 Breaststroke. We have had three meets so far this season and the kids are seeing some time drops and performing better technique. Keep up the great work Stars!
