JH Swimming Stars took on the Tri-west Bruins Thursday night.

The girls team came away victorious with a score of 91-80. The boys team swam well but ultimately fell to the Bruins by a score of 88-65. Both of these teams keep dropping time and improving their technique every meet. On the girls side in the 100 IM Claire Torp dropped 3 seconds. In the 50 Free Kate Foy, Adalyn Sartin and Mackenzie Clements finished 2-3-4. Eisley Whiteley placed first in diving with a new personal high score. In the 100 Free Joan Gearheart dropped a second followed by Kyndal Dickerson who dropped 5 seconds. The 100 Backstroke saw some big time drops from all three girls. Isabelle Sturgis dropped over a second, Hannah Ranney dropped over 6 seconds and Kyndal Dickerson cut 3 seconds off of her previous best time. In the 100 Breaststroke Rylee Pelley shaved off a second for a new best time. Avery Schrier dropped 3 seconds and Claire Torp cut off 11 seconds for a new personal best. The 400 Free Relay team of I. Sturgis, C. Trop, J. Gearheart, E. Whiteley swam into first place. On the boys side in the 100 IM Liam Whiteley dropped 11 seconds. Aiden Smith dropped 3 seconds in the 50 Free. All three boys in the 100 Free had big time drops Henry Biggs shaved off 4 seconds. Levi Biggs dropped 5 seconds and Ben Twitty cut 6 seconds. The 200 Free Relay team of H. Biggs, A. Smith, L.Biggs and B. Twitty placed first tonight. In the 100 Backstroke Aiden Lester dropped over 41 seconds for a new best time.
