Western Boone Jr. - Sr. High School

The Western Boone boys golf team traveled to Crawfordsville Country Club to face hosting South Mont and visiting North Putnam in a three-way match on Tuesday night. The Stars would shoot a 198 to finish second (South Mont 179, North Put 239). Due to absence, Luke LaGrange stepped into the number one slot for the Stars and rose the occasion, shooting a season best 41, highlighted by two chips hitting the pin, with the second dropping on his final hole. Asher Foy (52) and Alex Thompson (48) both continued their trends of lowering their scores each match. Ben Fortner rounded out the scoring with a 57. The JV team shot a 223, led by Maddex Gadbury's 52, in an unofficially kept match vs South Mont (224). The Stars return to Crawfordsville this evening, this time to Crawfordsville Municipal, tonight to take on the hosting Athenians and visiting Knights of Central Catholic.
