Stars swim meet vs Clinton Central and Tecumseh

The JH swim team swam both Clinton Central and Tecumseh on Tuesday. The girls won against Clinton Central by a score of 67 - 35. They tied with Tecumseh with a score of 51 - 51. The girls Medley Relay of Isabelle Sturgis, Eisley Whiteley, Claire Torp and Evie Maurath started the meet off strong by finishing first. In the 200 Free Evie had a great swim dropping over 4 seconds for a new best time. Eisley Whiteley dropped 9 seconds to achieve a new best time and win the 100 IM. In the 50 Free Aveline Orr, Isabella Sparks, Adalyn Sartin and Mackenzie Clements all achieved new best times. Hannah Ranney and Kyndal Dickerson dropped 2 seconds and 3.5 seconds in the 100 Free. Claire Torp has a new best time after dropping 4 seconds in the 400 Free. Rachel Rustin dropped 6 seconds to also achieve a new best time in the 400 Free. The relay team of Kyndal Dickerson, Rylee Pelley, Aveline Orr and Claire Torp swam into first place in the 200 Free Relay. Jaili Torp won the 100 Backstroke. Rylee Pelley achieved a new best time in the 100 Breaststroke. Evie Maurath, Joan Gearheart, Eisley Whiteley and Isabelle Sturgis finished off the night by winning the 400 Free Relay. The boys lost to Tecumseh by a score of 53 - 44 and to Clinton Central 62 - 40. Highlights from the meet include Henry Biggs winning the 200 Free. Aiden Smith dropped almost 3 seconds for a new best time in the 200 Free. Aiden Lester dropped over 4 seconds in the 100 IM. Sam Hilger, Maddox Amich, Kolten Conner and Levi Biggs all dropped time in the 50 Free. Jacob Schrier dropped over 5 seconds in the 100 Free. Henry Biggs won the 400 Free. Liam Whiteley dropped over 3 seconds in the 100 Breaststroke. The Stars last regular meet will be Thursday at home against Southmont.
