The varsity girls tennis team lost another close match Wednesday 2-3 to Rossville. 1S Jones and 2D Baird/Hayden were defeated in straight sets while 3S Brunty won in straight sets. The match came down to 1D Ransom/Adams and 2S Fettig. 1D split sets and climbed back in the third to force a tiebreaker but came up just shy. 2S won in a third set, three hour match. The JV team lost a close one as well 2-3. 1D Meadows/Mickschl and 2D McClaskey/Steimel had great wins. The varsity team is now 2-4 and the JV team is 2-3. The Stars will host their annual WeBo Tourney Saturday morning at 9am where they will be joined by Fountain Central, Lafayette Central Catholic, and Speedway.
