Western Boone Jr. - Sr. High School

The boys and girls Jr. High track team placed 3rd overall in a 4-way meet vs. Brownsburg, Zionsville, and Traders Point. Both teams finished the meet with 5 points. The stars performed with grit and determination! Cheyenne Gibson, Maura Stucky, Evie Maurath, Alice Parsons, Macy Williams and Sabina Shepherd excelled for the girls' team! Drew Williams, Kole Nelson, Micah Farris, Cole Hurliman, Parker Collier, and Aries Beck had excellent performances for the boys' team! The team performed very well despite very windy conditions. Tuesdays meet: The JR High Track team participated in their first meet of the season last night against Lebanon. The boys placed second with a final score of 76-41. The girls also placed second with a final score of 106-20. The Stars shined with many athletes placing and many setting personal best. David Puckett, Brayden Henson, Nate Thompson, and Ian Riggen excelled for the boys' team. Rachel Rustin, Joan Gearheart, Aveline Orr, and Alexis Pennington shined for the girls' team. The team performed at a high level! GO STARS!!
