The Western Boone Lady Stars Junior High Softball A team dropped a tough on last night to Lebanon Middle School 7-3. Despite Ally Lewis and Mickey Burns teaming up on the mound and recording 11 strikeouts in just 4 innings of work the Stars defense was unable prevent 6 unearned runs in the second inning. The Stars were able to plate 3 runs on 4 hits by Ashlynn Foster, Addi Lee, Lewis and Burns. The B team also came up short in a 10-3 loss. The Stars again were able to post 3 runs on one hit by Shauna Hitch. Both teams will take tonight to learn from last night and be back in action Thursday with another conference opponent in Tri-West.
