The Western Boone Stars Track & Field teams traveled down the street to Lebanon in a triangular meet against Lebanon & Southmont. It was a great night for some awesome competition as the final stretch of the season is underway. The boys earned 3rd place to some of the Sagamore Conference’s best athletes in Track & Field – Mason Tomes finished in 2nd place in both the 100m & 200m Dash, and Phillip Talbott placed 2nd in the Long Jump. The girls earned 1st place overall – Kennedy Kiger & Emmy Roys both earned 1st place in the Shot Put & Discus respectively, Lily Shirley placed 1st in the 100m Dash, KaLeigh Steimel was 1st in the 300m Hurdles, Samantha Jones was 1st in the 400m Dash, Ki’erra Koch earned 1st in Long Jump, Katheryn Rutherford was 1st in Pole Vault, and Raegan Durbin was 1st in the 100m Hurdles.
