Western Boone Jr. - Sr. High School

After finishing in third place at the Western Boone Girls Tennis Tournament on Saturday with a win versus Speedway and losses to Lafayette Central Catholic and Fountain Central, the varsity girls tennis team got back to conference play Tuesday with a 1-4 loss to Crawfordsville. The win for the Stars came from 2S Fettig in a tiebreaker. The varsity team is now 5-7 overall and 2-1 in conference play. The JV team came up just short as well in a close 2-3 loss. Winning for JV was 2S Heine and 3S McClaskey. The JV team is now 4-4. The Stars will host another conference match Thursday versus Danville at 5pm. It will also be senior night where the team will honor Leelah Fettig.
