Western Boone Track & Field hosted both North Montgomery & Fountain Central in a competitive triangular meet. It was the final time that the 8 senior leaders on the team had the opportunity to compete on their home track & field. This senior night was special and one that all will remember – many seniors hit seasonal bests and even personal bests in their events. The Stars’ Boys Team took home second place on the evening and were led by seniors: Jaxson Gott (Shot Put, Discus, 4x400m Relay), Zayne Sturgis (Shot Put, Discus), and Chase Richwine (4x100m Relay, 300m Hurdles, High Jump, 4x400m Relay). The Lady Stars Team earned the victory, led by KaLeigh Steimel (4x800m Relay, 300m Hurdles, 4x400m Relay), Hannah Haag (1600m, 3200m), Katheryn Rutherford (Pole Vault, 4x800m Relay, 800m, 4x400m Relay), Kennedy Kiger (Shot Put, Discus), and Emmy Roys (Shot Put, Discus).
