JV had a great victory last night over the Frankfort Hotdogs winning in two sets (25-10, and 25-19). The team recorded a total of 17 aces from the serving line! What a battle on the court! This Varsity match had fans on the edge of their seats as both teams traded blows in a thrilling five-set showdown, with scores of 25-22, 21-25, 25-23, 24-26, and 15-13. The offense came alive behind the senior leadership of Emmerson Gott and Isabel Adams, who powered down 17 kills each, while Emily Shepherd wasn’t far behind with 13 of her own. On the defensive side, Kenleigh Raby anchored the back row with an impressive 19 digs, while Adams added 13. Reagan Harlos, Mallory Hayden, and Alexa Massingill each hustled for 8 digs to keep the rallies alive. Though the final set was a nail-biting finish, the energy, grit, and determination from start to finish proved this team can compete with anyone to go toe-to-toe. Great Win for both teams and what an electrifying night of volleyball!
