Western Boone Jr. - Sr. High School

The High School Cross Country Team competed at the Flashrock Invitational in Carmel on Saturday morning. Aiden Lester powered through and finished in 17:57.7 for 26th place, followed by Alex Crockett in at 19:04.0, Brennan Bivens (19.14.5), Owen Young (19.49.2), Brayden Schick (19.59.4), Rex Stanley with a new Personal Record (PR) of 20.19, Eli Bishop with a strong finish in at 20:23.2, Caleb Crockett (20:41.8), Kole Nelson with a new PR in at 21:00,3, Andres Morales (24:32.5), and Izaak Harsin (27:20.1). Charlotte Stucky finished with a 7th place medal (21:03.9) for the girls, followed by Janelle Gearheart with a season best time of 23:35.2, Abigayle Humphrey (23:41.5), Joan Gearheart (24:05.9), Harmony Gilbrech (25:18.9), Kate Higer (25:40.2), Adalyn Sartin with a new PR (27:02.8), Britney Richwine (28:43.7), and Katrina Brewer (31:04.6). The Stars will race again at the Nike Twilight Race in Terre Haute on October 4th.
