Stars conclude Cross Country season at Regionals

The High School Cross Country team finished their season on a high note at the Regional Competition in Brownsburg Saturday morning. With near perfect running conditions and some of the most elite runners in the state of Indiana, 7 Stars came to the course to compete. Aiden Lester was first to finish for the boys with an impressive time of 17:27.4. Alex Crockett finished his cross country career with a lifetime best of 17:51.7. Brennen Bivens competed with determination and grit and achieved a new personal record in 18:27.8, and Owen Young ran his first Regional competition with a time of 19:27.0. Charlotte Stucky was first to cross the finish line for the Lady Stars, finishing her high school cross country career with a new lifetime best of 20:16.6. Joan Gearheart completed her season with a near season best time of 22:00.4, and Abigayle Humphrey ran her first Regional competition achieving a new personal record of 22:10.5. The Stars have worked hard and they should be extremely proud of all of their amazing personal and team achievements this season.
