Jill Corbett '01 Biddle has been named to the Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame Silver Anniversary Team! Jill helped the Irish to two Class 3A state championships, averaging 13.0 points, 6.9 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 3.5 steals as a junior for a 27-1 team as well as 10.7 points, 7.2 rebounds, 5.2 assists and 3.5 steals as a senior for the 29-1 Irish. She unfortunately sat out the 2001 postseason run because of injury. In four seasons playing for coach Linda Bamrick, Corbett totaled 971 points, 660 rebounds, 335 assists and 338 steals for teams that went 96-12 and won three Indianapolis City Tournaments, three sectionals, three regionals and three semi-states in addition to the two 3A state titles. She also tallied 8.4 points, 5.8 rebounds, 2.9 assists and 3.9 steals as a freshman for a 13-9 squad plus 7.1 points, 6.7 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 2.9 steals as a sophomore for a 27-1 Class 3A state runner-up. A 2001 Indiana All-Star and 2000 Junior All-Star, the 5-foot-10 guard-forward was a two-time team captain and selected 2001 ICGSA first-team All-State, two-time AP All-State (2000 honorable mention, 2001 high honorable mention) and four-time Indianapolis All-City (1998, 1999 honorable mention; 2000, 2001 first team). She also was a standout soccer player for the Irish.
