The Fighting Irish girls volleyball team won sectionals with a win over Bishop Chatard 3-1 (25-14, 25-15, 19-25, 25-15). Cathedral defeated Shortridge 3-0 (25-4, 25-9, 25-14) in the opening round and secured a win over Crispus Attucks 3-0 (25-6, 25-10, 25-7) in the semifinals. Cathedral advances to the regional around against Tri-West on Saturday, October 26 at 4:00pm. The game will be played at Cascade High School.
