Five Irish wrestlers have punched their ticket to the state finals! Overall, the team placed 3rd in the New Castle semistate with five advancing as individuals. Junior Kyle Harden advanced to the state finals for the second consecutive year. Kyle is the semistate champion at 190 pounds. Tate St Luarent (106lbs) finished semistate runner-up to qualify for the state meet. Tyler Lavin (150lbs), John Kissmeyer (120lbs), and Cullen Crowley finished 4th, 3rd, and 4th respectively, to secure the spot in the final weekend of competition. The parade of champions begins at 2:30 PM Friday, February 21 with competition beginning at 3:00 PM. The meet continues Saturday afternoon and evening.
