The Cathedral softball team captured the 2025 City Tournament championship with a dominant 13-4 victory over Bishop Chatard in the title game. The Irish took control with four runs in the bottom of the third inning, then added three runs in both the sixth and seventh to seal the win. Sydney Matthews led the offense with four RBIs, while Angie Valentine drove in three runs. Sidney Feczko earned the win on the mound. To reach the championship, Cathedral defeated Cardinal Ritter 17-0 and Heritage Christian 19-1 in the opening rounds.
