Gymnastics Picks Up DAC Win Over CP/GBB Knocks Off Washington Township

Gymnastics Moves to 2-1 in the DAC with Strong Performance The Lady Indian gymnasts had their strongest team performance of the year to defeat the visiting Crown Point Bulldogs (104.65 - 102.275). Gabriella Arroyo was the All-Around Champion; Arroyo also finished 1st in the balance beam and floor exercise. Sophia Rodriguez won the vault and Kailynn Paat earned a 2nd place vault finish. Gabrielle Robbins finished 2nd in the floor exercise. Genevieve Rogers was the team 2 All-Around Champion. The Indians head to the Plymouth Invitational on Saturday. Full Meet Results Attached Girls' Basketball Heads to the Munster Sectional with Momentum Q1 Q2 Q3 Q4 F LC 9 11 15 6 41 Wash Twp 13 5 8 5 31 The LC girls' basketball team finished the regular season (12-12 overall) on a high note defeating a solid Washington Township team on the road. The Indians erased a 1st quarter deficit and won the final 3 quarters to earn a 41-31 victory. LC accrued 15 steals as a team in the strong defensive effort. Emma and Alex Myszak had 4 each. Jill Beaderstadt led the Indians in scoring with 14 points. E. Myszak added 9, Neila Ogden had 7, and Allison Yott had 6. Diane Jeffires snagged a team high 5 rebounds. The Indians will play host Munster in the IHSAA Sectional on Friday of next week.
