Orueta defeated Blake Doss of New Palentine on Friday evening to guarantee himself a spot on the podium. Nied lost by tech fall on Friday evening ending his excellent season as a State Qualifier. On Saturday, Orueta squared off against Kaid Jackson of Delta and lost a heartbreaker 8-5. Orueta rebounded by beating Caleb Morrow of Roncalli in a major decision, before losing the 5th place match. Cruz Orueta reached the podium as a 6th place finisher for the 2nd year in a row. Great Job Cruz and Luke! DAC Press Release: The DAC released its annual All-Conference team Monday night.
