The boys swimming and diving State Finals will begin at 5 PM CST. The Indians will compete in 6 events: 50 Free, 100 Free, 200 Free, 500 Free, 200 Free Relay, and 400 Free Relay. He will be in heat 1 of 4. Billingsley wins his heat with a time of 1:46.15. Billingsley did not qualify for tomorrow’s championship or consolation swim. He will still swim the 500 and 2 relays later this evening. Senior Kajus Rudzivicius is up next for LC in the 50 Free. He will swim the 4th of 4 heats. He is the current school and DAC record holder in the event. Kajus swam 21.33 and just missed a Saturday swim. He also has three more swims left tonight: 100 free and 200 free relay and 400 free relay. Rudzivicius is next up in the 100 Free. He will swim in the 2nd of 4 heats. He did not qualify for Saturday’s championship swims. Ben Billingsley is in the 500 Free next (heat 2 of 4). Billingsley swims a 4:47.57 in his heat. Billingsley fell just out of the top 16 and will not swim the 5 tomorrow. The very next event is the 200 Free. Kajus Rudzivicius, Tim Hampton, Ben Billingsley, and Jacob Miczek will compete in heat 2/4. LC swims a 127.63 and they’ll wait out the final two heats. LC fell just short of the Saturday swim. The final swim for the Indians will be the 400 Free Relay. The same four swimmers as the 200 free will try to make tomorrow’s final. LC came across in 3:14.45 but it wasn’t enough to advance.
