Lake Central High School

The boys' wrestling team wrestled the 46th Annual Al Smith over the Holiday break. They joined 31 other teams: LC finished in 20th of the 32. Notable performances came from freshman Cruz Orueta at 106 pounds. Orueta finished in 5th place running his record to 21-3. Senior Emilio Tirado finished in 3rd at 175 pounds. Tirado is 21-2 overall. The Indians will travel to La Porte to wrestle the Slicers on Wednesday.
