Lake Central High School

The boys' basketball team traveled to North Central for the Paul Loggan Memorial Invitational over the Holiday break and hosted Mishawaka Marian on December 20th. The Indians finished the layoff 0-3 to go to 2-6 overall. Lake Central lost a tight home game to Mishawaka Marian 59-56. Noah Sabador led the way for LC scoring 14 points and drilling 4-3 pointers. Noah Enyeart contributed 13 points and 7 rebounds (team high). Zach Greene scored 11 and had 4 assists (team high), and Cooper Kroncke scored 9 on 3-3s. In the first game at North Central, LC faced Carmel. The Indians fell to the Greyhounds 57-26. Greene led all LC scorers with 8. Jakob Billmeyer and Kroncke each added 6 points. In the final game, LC held a lead in the second half but fell to the host Panthers in double overtime by a score of 69-63. Enyeart led the way with 23 points and 8 boards, Greene scored 13, Sabador scored 8, Kroncke scored 7, and Spencer Gail had 4 rebounds and 4 assists. LC travel to Morton tomorrow.
