Reese Kasprzak, wrestling at 110 pounds, in the inaugural IHSAA Regional at Goshen HS won her first match by fall in just 1 minute and 16 seconds. In the second round she will wrestle Eliza Paredes from New Prairie HS. This is the ticket round to advance to the State Finals. Quarter Finals UPDATE: Kasprzak just punched her ticket to the state finals with a 6-1 decision in the quarter finals! Semi-Finals are next. Semi-Finals UPDATE: Kasprzak won her semi-final match by fall over Britain Whitmer (18-5 overall) at the 2:00 mark. She will advance to the IHSAA Regional finals to take on Joy Cantu from Merrillville (SR #1). Finals UPDATE: Reese finished as the IHSAA Regional Runner-Up. She will wrestle for a STATE CHAMPIONSHIP next Friday! Great job Reese and coaches!!
