Varsity Basktball: Lake Central 70 La Porte 34 Lake Central defeated LaPorte at home on Saturday to move to 13-6 overall and 5-0 in the DAC. The Indians will host Portage on Thursday for senior night. Ayla Krygier and Vanessa Wimberly led a balanced LC effort and both stuffed the stat sheet in leading the Indians to victory over the Slicers. Krygier had a game high 18 points. She also contributed 7 rebounds and 4 steals. Wimberly had 13 points, 9 assists, 4 rebounds, and 3 steals. Jill Biederstadt had 12 points and 7 rebounds, Bella Soria added 9 points and 5 rebounds, and Bryn Leonard had 8 points and 6 rebounds in the effort.
