Varsity vs Portage High School (104.75 - 101.3) Win The gymnastics team competed in their first conference meet of the year last night against Portage. The Indians secured the win with a varsity team score of 104.75 to portages 101.3. Gabby Robbins lead the team with a 2nd place finish on bars, 3rd place on beam, 1st place on floor, and 2nd place all around. Kailynn Paat placed 3rd on vault, 1st on bars, 2nd on floor, and 3rd all around. Sophia Rodriguez placed 2nd on vault, 5th on bars, 5th on floor, and 4th all around. Gabi Arroyo placed 3rd on floor and 6th in the all around. Janna Kendall placed 4th on vault and beam. Sonya Gomez placed 4th on bars. Our JV team also took the win with Marina Negrete placing 1st on vault, bars and beam, Janna Kendall placing 2nd on bars, Emily Bishop placing 4th on beam and 1st on floor, Sonya Gomez placing 6th on vault and 2nd on floor, Ceci Corona placed 6th on vault and 5th on floor, and Ari Mahan placing 5th on vault, 3rd on beam, and 3rd on floor.
