Boys' S/D Finish as DAC Runners-Up

The boys' swimming and diving team competed in and hosted the DAC Championships on Saturday. This was a great meet and fairly tight at the top. The Valparaiso Vikings, came in undefeated in DAC duals, earned the team title. LC was second overall in the final conference standings: This place was secured with the second place team finish on Saturday. There lone loss of the season was Valparaiso. The full team standings are below. LC had two DAC Champions. Cal Bowman won the 50 free with an impressive 21.07 time. Bowman's fast swim left him within 1/10th of the Duneland Conference Record. The boys' 200 yard relay was also victorious (in a new Lake Central school record time) with a time of 1:25.74. This relay was swam by Kajus Rudzevicious, Timothy Hampton, Cameron Mosley, and Cal Bowman. The remainder of the event champions are attached and full results will be posted at a later time.
