Lake Central High School

The Lake Central varsity cheerleaders departed today for the UCA NHSCC National Invitational Cheer Tournament. The tournament takes place from February 7-10, 2025 at Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida. The National tourney has taken place for 40 years. "The UCA National High School Cheerleading Championship has been the culmination of the season for cheerleaders across the nation. It’s the most prestigious high school national championship in the country." Last season at Nationals, the LC Varsity team had a great showing. They finished 3rd place in Division 1 Non-building and 6th place in Division 1 Non-building Gameday! Good luck to the cheerleaders! At the state championships in November, the Varsity Cheer team earned a State Championship in the Large Time-out Division and State Runner Up in the Varsity A Division. The were runner up by just 1/10 of a point to Fort Wayne Carroll. Madelyn Biggerstaff, Autumn Garcia, and Peyton Morris have already been selected to the IASP All-State Teams this season.
