Lake Central High School

The Lake Central swimmers made the trip to the famous Indiana University of Indianapolis Natatorium. The Indians were participants in 4 events: 200 Medley Relay: Dylan Pacheco, Cal Bowman, Tim Hampton, and Kajus Rudzivicius The 200 medley relay team was disqualified after a strong swim for an early entry into the pool. 50 Free: Cal Bowman and Kajus Rudzivicius Bowman missed out on the finals by a mere 1/100 of a second and was victorious in the consolation heat finishing 9th in 21.06. Rudzivicius swam 21.93 in the preliminaries and did not qualify for a finals swim. 100 Free: Cal Bowman Bowman earned a qualifying swim at the preliminaries on Friday: On Saturday, he earned a 16th place overall finish with a time of 47.49. 200 Free Relay: Kajus Rudzivicius, Tim Hampton, Cam Mosley The 200 relay team earned a final's swim with their preliminary performance. In the finals, LC finished in 13th place in 1:26:84. The Indians finished a great season. They were the #2 team in the DAC and Sectional Champions. They scored at the state meet and finished in 24th place as a team.
