Once again, the girls' gymnastics team has advanced to the IHSAA Regional. The regional will take place on Saturday at Portage High School. LC was one of three teams to advance to the regional: They will be joined locally by Crown Point and Valparaiso, and from the Lafayette sectional, Northwest, Westfield and West Lafayette. LC team scores: Vault Bars Beam Floor Total 27.35 24.5 26.325 27.6 105.775 Janna Kendall led LC on the vault exercise earning a 9.15 for 8th overall. On the uneven bars, Kailynn Paat was 14th overall with an 8.3. Gabriella Arroyo was 7th on the balance beam with a 9.2 score, and on the floor exercise Gabrielle Robbins scored an impressive 9.45 for 4th place and a spot on the podium (pictured). Kailynn Paat was 13th in the All-Around with a 34.525.
