Girls' Tennis @ Illiana Christian Varsity Lake Central 4 Illiana Christian 1 #1S: Nora Karr (LC) def Gianna Vukas (IC) 6-1, 6-0 #2S: Tatiana Marjanovich (LC) def Sienna Eenigenberg (IC) 6-1, 6-0 #3S: Sai Chodavarapu (LC) def Ella DeJong (IC) 6-0, 6-1 #1D: Andies Schiltz / Lyla Hurey (LC) def Aubrey VanBeek / Morgan Smith (IC) 6-1, 4-6, 10-8 #2D: Anya Lindemulder / Sophie Plank (IC) def Charlotte Barnard / Tessa Murzyn (LC) 6-0, 6-4 JV Illiana Christian 3 Lake Central 2 Lake Central travels to Crown Point tonight. Both teams are near the top of the DAC, and a win tonight, will guarantee a share of the title for Lake Central. Lake Central has not won a DAC Championship since joining the conference. V Softball @ Hanover Central LC 4 HC 1 Maddie Such was terrific on the hill, striking out 13 and only allowing 1-run in the complete game effort. The offense was limited to 4 hits: Tegan Tripp provided the big blow with a homerun and a pair of RBIs. MaKayla Van Vossen reached base three times and added a hit. The Indians travel to Crown Point tonight for a match-up of DAC powers. LC is 11-0 in the DAC and the Bulldogs are 10-1 with their lone loss coming to the Indians.
